MD Hyperbaric + ALLO Performance Medicine

Precision Recovery for when the Standard of Care Isn't Enough

A six-month integrated program combining hyperbaric oxygen therapy with full-spectrum functional medicine, designed specifically for veterans and first responders living with TBI and PTSD.

MD Hyperbaric ALLO Performance Medicine

The problem we're solving

Standard care was not built for overlapping neurological and physiological injury.

Veterans and first responders with TBI and PTSD are routinely underserved by conventional care. Standard psychiatric and neurological protocols were not built for this population’s exposure history, physiological demands, or the complexity of overlapping injuries.

Most programs treat symptoms in isolation. This one doesn't.

More than 400,000 service members have been diagnosed with TBI. PTSD affects up to roughly 30% of recent-era veterans over a lifetime. Effective, integrated care remains out of reach for most.

How the program works

Two modalities, one plan.

HBOT at MD Hyperbaric

  • 60 sessions at a credentialed MDH facility.
  • Protocol designed for neurological recovery support in TBI and PTSD.
  • HBOT increases dissolved oxygen in plasma and may support angiogenesis, neuroplasticity, and inflammation modulation.
  • View MDH facilities

Functional Medicine at ALLO

  • Full systems evaluation: brain, gut, hormone, immune, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular.
  • 90-minute joint initial visit with medical provider and dietitian.
  • Personalized Performance Care Plan with Red, Amber, and Green domain reporting.
  • Weekly health coaching and direct care team access for 6 months.
  • Visit ALLO Performance Medicine

The combination of HBOT and functional medicine addresses not only the cumulative injury and invisible wound, but the systemic dysfunction it creates.

Program at a glance

What each participant receives.

HBOT Sessions 60 at an MDH facility

Credentialed MDH facility sessions designed to support neurological recovery in TBI and PTSD.

Medical Visits 3-4

Provider-led visits establish the plan, monitor progress, and adjust care across the program.

Dietitian Visits 2-3

Nutrition support is integrated into the care plan rather than treated as a separate wellness add-on.

Health Coaching Weekly

Weekly coaching keeps the plan active between visits and helps participants stay on track.

Care Team Access Direct

Participants have direct access to the care team during the six-month program window.

Advanced Lab Panel Blood, gut, metabolic, and toxin testing

Comprehensive blood biomarkers, gut health testing with stool analysis, urinary metabolomics, and a robust toxin screening.

Evidence

The Evidence Behind the Program.

HBOT and brain recovery

Clinical studies have evaluated HBOT for persistent post-concussion symptoms after mild traumatic brain injury, including cognitive outcomes, perfusion findings, angiogenesis, and neuroplasticity markers.

PTSD-focused research

A randomized controlled study evaluated a 60-session HBOT protocol in veterans with treatment-resistant PTSD and reported symptom and brain-imaging improvements. Follow-up literature should be presented without cure language.
